J/24 District 14 provides many opportunities to race J/24s, both in one-design events and PHRF events.

J/24 Fleet Level Racing

On the Fleet level, local yacht clubs host both informal and casual racing events, as well as larger flagship regattas. Some of these events are one-design events and some are PHRF (ratings for J/24s are 171 for spinnaker and 183 for non-spinnaker). Contact your local Fleet Captain for information on local racing.

J/24 Texas Circuit

The J/24 Texas Circuit is the series of events that make up the District 14 Championship competition. The top finisher of the Texas Circuit for those years prior to the Worlds being held in North America is awarded a berth to the Worlds. Seven (7) regattas take place across Texas and other District 14 states from time to time. Between 14 and 28 boats regularly compete in the various regattas held throughout the year, and the competition is great.

J/24 District 14 Series

This Series was created in 2020 in order to invigorate the wave of new J/24 boat owners in District 14. Under the leadership of District Governor, John Parker, this new racing series format encompasses all of District 14 (Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Kansas). The Series is separated into District 14 North Division and District 14 South Division and provides ample opportunities for new racers to get involved in District 14 racing. F
